Sat July 4 — all dayCelebrate America’s 250th birthday at the lodge. Independence Day drink specials in the Member’s Lounge all day long.
America 250 · Veterans Appreciation Day
Sun July 5 · 10 AM – 6 PMFree community event at Fort Adams, hosted by the Newport Historical Society and VFW Post 406, supported by a Newport Elks Lodge #104 donation. A day of remembrance honoring those who built and preserved our nation.
Flea Market & Craft Fair

Lodge Meeting & Balloting
Tue July 14 · 7 PMThe only Lodge Meeting in July — balloting on the agenda. Members only. Note: the Member’s Lounge is closed during the meeting.
Newport Comedy Night
Sat July 25 · 7:30 PMTicketed PG-13 stand-up in the Lodge Room, featuring top headliners from the New York and Boston comedy scenes.
Veterans Night at the Gulls — Rescheduled
Mon July 27 · gates 5 PM · game 6:35 PMThe 3rd Annual Elks Veterans Night at the Newport Gulls (Sanford Mainers vs. Newport Gulls), rescheduled from June. Tickets $4; all veterans admitted free with ID. Volunteers & marchers arrive by 5:30 PM for the 6:10 PM parade around the field behind the Elks #104 banner. Free parking at the Visitor’s Center across America’s Cup Ave. Contact Dave Dittmann to march.
Save a Life — Blood Drive
Wed July 29 · 3 – 7 PMBlood drive in the Lodge Room, organized by Brother Elk Tom Rao. Donors receive a free T-shirt, a $10 gift card, and a chance to win a $100 restaurant gift card.
Monthly Madness Jackpot Drawing
Fri July 31 · 9 PMEnd-of-month members’ jackpot drawing in the Member’s Lounge. Must be present to win.
Ongoing Social Activities
Pickleball
Saturdays & Sundays 10 AM – 2 PM in the gym. Bring your own paddle — all levels welcome.
Queen of Hearts
One card is drawn each week, and the jackpot grows until the Queen of Hearts is revealed. Rules & details →
Trivia Potluck
Monday nights, trivia starts at 6:30 PM. Four rounds, six questions each. Teams of no more than 6.
Mahjong
Fridays 1 – 3 PM in the Honor Room. Come learn how to play — no experience necessary. All skill levels welcome.
Yoga
Wednesdays 4 – 5 PM in the Lodge Room. Slow-flow class — bring your own mat.
Literary Circle
Last Thursday of the month at 6 PM in the Honor Room. Join fellow members to discuss the month's book pick.
